Cross country hosts Tech Open
The No. 24 Texas Tech women’s cross country team placed runners second through seventh as the Red Raiders men took a team win at the Texas Tech Open at Meadowbrook Golf Course.
Tech’s Gilbert Limo won the men’s individual title with a time of 24:55.53.
Cross country teams to host race
The Texas Tech cross country teams, which swept the team and individual titles at last week’s season-opening meet in Ruidoso, N.M., will host the Texas Tech Open at 5 p.m. today at Meadowbrook Golf Course.
Today’s field includes South Plains College, Lubbock Christian and Wayland Baptist.
