Tech golf fifth at CSU tournament
The Texas Tech women’s golf team finished fifth overall and Gabby Dominguez took seventh at the Ptarmigan Ram Fall Golf Classic held by Colorado State.
Tech carded an 870 as a team to finish 11 strokes behind winner Idaho.
Dominguez, a freshman, had a 3-under-par 69 to finish seventh after entering the day tied for 16th.
Tech golfer Floren ties for title
ROCKY FACE, Ga. — Texas Tech’s Nils Floren came from five shots back starting Sunday to tie for individual medalist in the Carpet Capital Collegiate golf tournament, carding a 4-under 68 in the final round.
