Potts’ regression, Williams’ aggression help OU tie it(0)
So much for Taylor “Nick” Potts looking better today. With Texas Tech driving toward a second score in the first quarter, he threw the ball right to Oklahoma defensive back Jonathan Nelson for his 11th interception of the season.
The Sooners’ offense then tried to go three-and-out, but Marlon Williams was called for pass interference on [...]
A new name, a new number and new uniforms
I’m checking in late from Jones Stadium, because it took me about half an hour to get online. Anyway, it’s a gorgeous day for a football game, and it’s always an exciting one when Texas Tech hosts Oklahoma.

Wide receivers coach Dennis Simmons said Tuesday that Franks was in the doghouse for what he termed “a variety of reasons.’’ The [...]

Texas Tech cornerback Jamar Wall and linebacker Marlon Williams, both of whom missed Tuesday’s practice, returned to Wednesday’s workout. Both got hurt late in Saturday’s 24-17 loss at Oklahoma State, Wall in a violent collision with Cowboys quarterback Zac Robinson.
Williams was wearing a protective boot Tuesday.
Starting middle linebacker Brian Duncan has taken some snaps at [...]

SAN ANTONIO – When Kristy Curry got the call asking if her Lady Raiders would schedule a non-conference game against Tennessee, the Texas Tech coach did not hesitate to accept the undeniably enormous challenge.
After losing 91-53 to the Lady Vols on Tuesday, Curry said she still thinks Tech will get more positive than negative out [...]
