Texas Tech offensive linemen Brandon Carter and Marlon Winn have been invited to play in the fourth annual Pro Football Hall of Fame Texas vs. the Nation Challenge. The game is scheduled for 1 p.m. CST Feb. 6 at the Sun Bowl in El Paso.

The all-star game matches players with ties to Texas against players from around the country. Former Dallas Cowboy Bill Bates will coach the Texas team. Howard Schnellenberger will coach the nation team.

Carter also is scheduled to play in the East-West Shrine Game on Jan. 23 in Orlando, Fla.
