Toston puts Pokes on top

STILLWATER, Okla. – Three straight runs by Keith Toston, the last from the 1-yard line, have given Oklahoma State a 17-10 lead with 12:57 remaining.

The Cowboys converted two third downs and a fourth down during a 15-play, 66-yard drive that took more than six minutes off the game clock. Their other possession of the second half – the first one – spanned 19 plays and 73 yards and took more than eight minutes.

It’s all because of a rushing attack that has gained 126 second-half yards on 26 carries.

The Red Raiders’ offense needs to put together a long scoring drive of its own, because they need points and their defense needs a breather.
