Tech defense tiring
STILLWATER, Okla. – Oklahoma State’s resurgent running game is wearing out the Texas Tech defense, which was on the field for all but 2 minutes, 52 seconds of the third quarter.
After rushing for only 36 yards in the first half, the Cowboys gained 112 yards on the ground in the third period. A run-heavy attack has them back in the red zone to start the fourth quarter, after back-to-back scrambles of 13 and 19 yards by quarterback Zac Robinson.
The Red Raiders’ exhaustion showed on both runs as they couldn’t put a finger on Robinson until he was well into the secondary.
