I think that most of the improvement is from better speed in the secondary. A few points: The bend don't break prevent coverage has worked extremely well in covering the deep passes (as evident by the passing TD's). However, the shallow passing game is easily exploited as I saw Houston/A&M do with relative ease. Moreover, the space allows for easy running for opposing running backs that break outside the d-line. I wish our linebackers had some of the speed that our secondary has. My biggest dissappointment with the secondary is their basic tackling skills. Show me how many times Wall has tackled a guy while using his arms and I bet its on one hand. They too often go for the big hit/play rather than basic tackles/coverage. Several good points. We have seen a different team and a different way of winning game in and game out. The aTm game was a throat punch to all TECH fans...but hey we are the Red Raiders and we will overcome as we have been. I am a believer that things happen for a reason and our QB drama in someway will work for us for the better come next season. Whoever our starting QB is....GO GIVE THEM HELL!!!! GO TECH!!!
