The Texas Tech soccer team will shoot for its first win in Lawrence, Kan., at 4 p.m. today when it faces Kansas in a Big 12 Conference match.

The Red Raiders (8-4-1, 3-0-1 Big 12), who are second in the conference standings behind Colorado, are 0-5 all-time in Lawrence and have lost their last five matches overall against the Jayhawks (8-4-1, 0-3). A win today would give Tech its best start to conference play in program history.

Tech remains on the road to take on Missouri (6-4-3, 1-0-2) at 1 p.m. Sunday.
