Texas Tech golfer Nils Floren, who won a share of the individual title on Sunday at the Carpet Capital Collegiate tournament, has been honored as Golfweek’s College Player of the Week.

The junior from Sweden finished at 6-under par after a final-round 68, giving him his first career victory. Floren’s older brother, Oscar, won three tournaments during his Tech career.
