Leach dismisses two
Junior cornerback Pete Richardson and freshman defensive tackle Joey Fowler have been dismissed from the team, Texas Tech coach Mike Leach said Sunday, and won’t return. Leach said both violated team rules.
“We wish them the best wherever they transfer,” Leach said.’
Also, Leach said he does not expect freshman linebacker Brandon Reid, who is academically ineligible, to be back. Reid and Fowler redshirted this season. Richardson was hurt for part of the year. He played in three games and made two tackles.

last I heard was he was on a “cruise” off Somalian coast looking for a little extra booty…….shiver me timbers!!!

Sources tell me he is good with his offer but is lobbying to get his assistant coaches more money. Its not like he has anywhere else to go. There are no more openings available at quality schools.

Why would Mike Leach not be back, he currently has a contract that is good for 2 more years. He also has a contract extension that includes a substancial raise, he may not accept that, but the does not lead to not being back…unless some other really good job opens in the next little while. Low probability of that happening from what I can see.
