What Happen to Graham Harrell and The Texas Tech Red Raiders? They got Stooped. Bob Stoops knew the Raiders every move. Was it a case of the teacher, Stoops, taking the pupil, Leach , behind the wood shed or was there more than what met the casual observers eye? Unlike Mike Leach I did play defense. Most good defensive player do not ham it up between plays. They stand very quite listen and look for clues as to what the offense is going to run next. Now Bob and his staff coached the greatest game of football in history or they too were looking and listening. The only other answer is God loves Oklahoma more than Texas Tech. I can assure you being a Tech grad and fifth generation Texan, that is not the case. Did Stoops steal Leaches signals. Did Oklahoma relay one of six signs out to their defense; run right, run left, run up gut and pass short sideline, pass middle, and pass deep. I think in Pro football it would be part of the game, but college we are at least in a grey area. If they did manipulate the game in this manner I think Stoops should at least confess, if not ask Graham and the Raiders for forgiveness. For this embarrassing loss cost Tech a possible National Championship and more likely their first Heisman. And one more thing Mike cover your mouth. There's lip readers out there. They come from the School for the Deaf here in Austin.

Tech fans are the most uneducated fans when it comes to college football. This is why you get no respect. That and your gimmick playstation offenses.

Anyone who thinks an eight game playoff would have given Tech a chance has not thought through what they are saying.

Do you really think the NCAA or BCS or whoever is in control of setting up an eight game playoff would allow 3 teams from the same division into the bracket? That would only leave 5 other teams for the ENTIRE REST OF THE COUNTRY. Even though it would be fair to do so because Tech, OU and UT all earned their rankings, I have noticed that fairness is not a consideration when setting up post season competition in college football.

This is just a note to say that reading this stream has shown me what true sportsmanship and dedication is all about. I am a lifelong supporter of my Soooners, but the oppinions expressed here by the Texas Tech team, coaches and fans continuess to rank you among the classiest in the country. We around Austin and I presume around the nation have been overwhelmingly convinced that Class is not a subject broached at the forty acres in Austin. What whinners these longhorns be. Thanks to all here who will wish Oklahoma well in their efforts to make the Big 12 South Division proud.

Hey it's been a great ride and all Raiders have so much to be proud of. 11- 1 sson to be 12-1 is near perfect in the toughest division in college football this season. I am so greatful I was able to sit and watch all but one Tech game this year and celebrate victory. I took my 3 year daughter to the Baylor game on Saturday and just experiencing that through her eyes was enough. I'm really excited about Tech and the future of this team. We will have better days I can promise you that. This team has progressively gotten better under Mike Leach and will continue to do so. Be proud Raiders and support Tech moving forward!!

The powers that be and the computers got it wrong. Texas should have been the #2 team since the only game they lost, was at the end of 4 straight against top 10 teams, then only lost it when a guy dropped a game cinching interception in his hands and Tech pulled off a miracle play in the last second. Strength against strength, played on a neutral site, Texas beat OU straight up by 10 points. Tech would be the team but, 52-7? I mean Tech was behind at one point to OU by a score of 52-7. That is an unforgiveable score no matter how you try to spin it. The final score of the OU game really was more like 72-14 since OU had the ball on the 1 yard line but had their 2nd and 3rd team in there and they gave up a Tech TD late by their 2nd and 3rd team defense. The OU game completely stripped away any sort of claim Tech could make for a BCS bowl game. It is just a shame that a dropped interception caused the true Big 12 South Champion Longhorns a shot at the National Championship. Only Texas can stop Florida or Alabama... OU will struggle and Tech would see another major whipping if they were allowed to be in that game...

I agree with CL and EL REY . ,, I can live with the Cotton Bowl., but not an ranked team. We have nothing to gain and everything in final rankings to lose. Why the hell a #7 vs #23 or #24, I would rather have the Holiday if it was against top 10 team,.
