The number of reps vs: the number of sacks also has a tall tale towards effectiveness of play. When a player bullrushes his guy, or out quicks him on the edge before the QB has a chance to deliver the ball exudes individual talent. The reason some individuals are credited with a sack is largely due to the overall performance of players playing within the scheme designed for that particular play call. Leading tacklers on a defense are generally the LB's, because of design. Hats off to the guys that play according to the play called and don't free lance their way to statistics. I believe that's called a TEAM. Teams win games not individuals.
